Grow in Releasing the Kingdom

9:15 - Teaching begins...

9:30 - Todd on 700 Club

10:00 - Need for the body of Christ (as opposed to an individual) to express the kingdom. We teach and equip.

11:30 - Overwhelming need. Time for us to grow up in the kingdom. People are driven by their need. ➡ It’s important for the body of Christ to rise up and start walking in the power of God.

13:30 - Todd’s questions for 700 Club

14:00 - Cameras on the street. Encouraging the body

➡ 15:20 - God wants us to keep growing in the ability to release the kingdom.

15:30 - Praying for a man at the store - Should be normal to pray as you go.

16:00 - Live the gospel everyday. Love on people.

16:30 - Testimony - Broken wrist.

19:45 - Take the time to love on people. Amazing impact on people - and other believers.

Needs that Override Relationship

20:20 - Go to John 20…

21:20 - It’s not wrong to have need but it shouldn’t consume who you are. Your need shouldn’t cut off your outflow of the kingdom. Whole day can revolve around your need. Believe for healing but don’t let it cut off your effectiveness. Don’t be identified by what you are going through. Be identified by what Jesus went through. From that place, live your life.

23:10 - Girl - Just receive Daddy’s love. She was really weak. Now a new person. John’s ministry. She was consumed in her need. Prayer - receiving the Father’s love. God came and loved her.

28:25 - All she did was receive what was already done for her. Jesus has done all of the work.

28:35 - Know God -  Eternal life is knowing God. Christianity is all about relationship. Not a prayer to go to heaven. That’s impersonal. Knowing a neighbor analogy - knowing vs knowing about.

29:00 - You can be born again and yet not really know God.

29:00 - How you love shows how well you know God. Your expression of love reveals your knowing of God.

30:20 - “Know” - an intimate term.

30:50 - All we did for that girl was shift her focus off of her problems and get her focus onto Him.

Healthy Perspective

31:20 - John 20… I want you to see…

31:50 - Phone calls. I have a heart to get people so that they are living through a clear eye every day. [right perspective] It’s more than just seeing them healed. Know Him. And understand who you are because of Him. Live from a good healthy perspective.

32:50 - The importance of healthy perspective. Unhealthy perspective leads to vulnerability.

33:30 - Let God establish healthy perspective in you through time alone talking with Him.

War Against the Kingdom

33:50 - You will face trials - storms. Will your house stand? Satan is coming to try you. Coming to prove that every man loves himself more than God - that the only reason that we give God attention is because God gives us attention - because He’s blessing us. If he can steal away the blessing he hopes to reveal that our hearts are more for us than for God and the kingdom of God. This is the stuff that Satan does. He’s out to squeeze every man to reveal what that man is really motivated by.

34:55 - War between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light.

35:00 - God played Satan by letting Satan kill Jesus.

35:20 - Satan: I can’t defeat God but I can defeat man. Worry. Fret. I’ll keep them far from the finished work.

36:35 - Don’t just want the power of God. Pursue who He is and who He wants to be in us. Don’t just want your needs met. Want Him - because He’s awesome and amazing. We want who He is to be who we are from the inside out. Die to live. Not love our lives unto death.

37:00 - Not loving your own life.

➡ 37:15 - Single eye - These truths help keep your eye clear - your perspective clear. Healthy perspective - single eye. “Single” - sees only one way - looks through Jesus.

Relationship Leads into Kingdom Living

➡ 38:25 - John 20… I want you to see that this (gospel / way of kingdom living) is so for everybody…

39:00 - There’s a revelation in my (Dan’s) heart. But the focus should be that the revelation is OURS. Not trying to pray for everyone myself but equipping the body.

40:00 - Healings after other people have prayed. Bothers me. Pastor tells me that it’s because it’s a gift - No, not what God is saying.

40:45 - I used to pray for everyone. There’s a revelation in my heart. But God wants it multiplied.

41:00 - Jesus’ ministry was aimed at multiplying. We should follow His lead. We need to get back to His message - His pattern. Multiplying.

42:50 - Inner struggle / pain - Was asked the question, “Do you think there are a lot of people where you are at?” But I want to be where Jesus is at. I’m not seeing all healed.

43:50 - Jesus is the standard. And He imparted to a few men believing that they could impart it to the world and that the vision would never die. Let’s get back to that place. Back to the precedent that Jesus laid. Glean from what you see in the lives of other men but Jesus is the model.

45:00 - Get alone with Jesus and yield your heart. And keep growing.

45:10 - “Impartation” these days gets out of balance. There are things that only come through intimacy with God. I can’t impart who I have become - fearlessness, etc.

46:10 - David Hogan - misunderstood. People come to him and say, “I want to know the secret.” “I’m not telling you. Go get it from Jesus.” He says that we’re a Burger King generation - have it your way. Give it up.

47:15 - “Are there many people where you were at?” I’m not the standard. Early ministry. Praying for all the people who had needs. Something was unhealthy. I shut down for a year. Find a healthy place. Want to reproduce the kingdom.

49:10 - Short leg - Shortening leg anointing - Todd. Short leg in WV - excited. Who has never seen a leg grow? Pastor prays - nothing happens. Feeling under the pressure? That’s why nothing happens.

53:00 - Visuals and Faith - Visuals have impact. Your mind is the biggest detriment. The only way to get through this war in the mind is alone time with Jesus - to where you KNOW Him - you know His will - you know His love for the lady - you know His power. And faith comes out of knowing Him. Faith isn’t holding the feet and then trying to believe. If you are doing that you are too late. You’re not trying to have faith. You can’t locate and find faith at that point. It’s knowing Him.

54:10 - Short leg (cont.) - You’re probably thinking, “What more can I pray? What should I DO now?” Foundations of faith - knowing Him and His heart. Pastor really touched.

56:15 - Visuals.

57:00 - That same pastor goes on to demonstrate the kingdom - healing. So the whole thing was a great learning lesson.

57:45 - Gifts are fun and they get people’s attention. But the bottom line is that My sheep hear my voice. And faith works through love. And love is the most excellent way. So as we grow in the heart of God by spending time with Him - see what He sees…

58:50 - Hurting lady - Short leg - during WV sermon, I couldn’t preach any more. “She’s hurting.” Pain here and here. Short leg. She’s so important that God stopped my good preaching. Already healed. Built in lift.

1:02:15 - Discernment - That’s discernment - becoming one with the heart of God.

1:02:20 - I used to ask for the gifts. But there is striving that can come in there - waiting for the gift and becoming gift conscious. “Got to hear. Got to hear.” But go for the heart of God in the secret place and then the gifts just flow and you don’t even think about it. And there’s no pressure. You’re not trying to produce a thing or hear a thing. It just comes in the heart of God.

1:02:45 - Hurting lady - Short leg - (cont) - I wasn’t even thinking gifting. I was preaching and God stopped me.

1:03:10 - People sometimes call me and say, “I’m not going to tell you what the problem is. Get God to tell you.” No, ask and it shall be given. Something unhealthy about that.

1:03:40 - Teaching on word of knowledge - demonstration - 7 people - #1 prayer request - showing what’s available.

1:04:30 - We’re not trying to have gifts, we’re becoming love.

1:04:55 - Alone time with God. Right perspective in approaching God.

1:05:10 - Communing with God re: peace - Thank you for peace. That beats having someone lay hands on you and you feeling a sensation of peace. Because you can lose that sensation of peace.

1:05:45 - Let’s go deeper and know Him. And out of knowing Him, let’s move in who He is.

1:05:55 - So ministry is not what we do but who we are. That’s where ministry will be powerful.

1:06:05 - Example of communing. I pray out what’s true. I pray out the answer. Get in agreement with God. Kneeling / healing.

1:07:30 - Revelation always comes out of relationship. Not just through listening to others preach. They can point you to truth. But it becomes yours when you are talking right to the Father.

1:08:00 - When you are impacted by a truth, turn off the CD and commune it to the Father. Respond from your heart when something is touching you. That’s how it comes alive in you.

1:09:00 - Student at Global - Randy Clark’s school - doubts and questions. His heart was crying out for God reality.

1:10:15 - I have a mandate to only teach what is true in my life - what I live and experience. It comes out of my knowing (heart) not my knowing (head).

1:10:35 - Student (cont.) - clicks with Dan - When asked who would be the most helpful speaker at his home church, he said one guy - you’ve got to call Dan. “I want to know You at least like Dan knows you.” Heart came alive. I’m saved. Reality of God dawned on Him. Not supposed to be at Christ for the Nations. Called David Hogan. Invited down to stay with him. Most intense person ever met. Exposing the twists in the church. Seeing kingdom manifestations. American church. Invited to join ministry team. Praying for the dead to rise. 100’s raised from the dead. He was in confusion but God met him where he was. Marks on David’s body. This is not a game. This is laying down your life.

John 20

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her. 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Peace Between God & Man

(Making Kingdom Living Possible)

1:22:00 - Go to John 20:19...

1:22:40 - v.17 - not yet ascended to my Father - My Father / Your Father. My God / Your God - intense language. He’s our Father. Those are covenant terms. We’re family. First born among many brethren.

1:23:15 - Don’t cling to me - This doesn’t mean don’t defile me. But rather, I can’t be detained. Taking His blood to the Father.

1:24:00 - Man challenges Dan’s assertion of Jesus taking His blood to the heavenly tabernacle.

1:24:55 - I have to put my blood in the heavenly tabernacle on the mercy seat. He went there and made atonement. Made peace between God and man.

1:25:05 - v.19 - the same day in the evening - where was He? Making atonement. Power of sin crushed.

1:25:40 - v.20 - peace be with you - He just made peace between God and man. Angels proclaimed this before He was born - Peace on earth, goodwill towards man.

Commissioned to Unlimited Kingdom Living

1:26:10 - v.21 - as the Father sent me, I send you - He’s saying everything that God manifested to me and through me, I’m giving you the right to have. It’s yours. That’s huge. We can receive this.

[Funny interruption]

1:28:10 - Parenting - projectile poop.

1:30:00 - Back to the gospel… Look at the order. The first thing is peace between God and man. The war over sin is ended. Sin and its power is crushed. It’s peace with a purpose. It’s not just to go to heaven. It’s to get you back to original value (mint condition) and to equip you to be the body of Christ.

1:31:15 - Do you hear any limitation in that commission? In that purpose? Do you hear anything different about Him and us? Or is He giving us His calling? It’s the same. Amazing. He who believes in me will also do the things that I do - John 14:12. There are a lot of scriptures that we could quote.

Born of God for Kingdom Living

1:31:40 - v.22 - breathed on them - I want you to see this… He breathed on them. That’s how God brought Adam out of the dirt. Adam was just a form of what he was to be when God was molding him. He was only in the heart and vision of God. But as soon as God breathed into him, Adam became what God intended and saw for him.

1:32:00 - When he ate of the tree, Adam died. Not physically but inwardly - spiritually - separated from God. He went back to just a form of what he was intended to be. And instead of subduing, he was now subdued.

1:32:25 - So this is the picture of redemption - brought back to original value (condition). It’s the garden - seen through Christ. He’s the last Adam.

1:32:45 - So what He had done in putting His own blood on the mercy seat made the redemption of man possible. And now they are born again. They weren’t tares but wheat. Not dark but light. Their spirits became alive and were reborn.

1:33:15 - But still in Luke He tells them to tarry in the city, waiting for the promise of the Father. They will receive power.

1:33:30 - Why would all of this have to happen if all we needed was to go to heaven? We have the Holy Spirit so that we can do the things that He did. As the Father sent Him, He sent us.

Kingdom Living Leads into Multiplication

➡ 1:34:00 - The whole reason for preaching the gospel is to grow and multiply so that the glory of the Lord covers the earth. The original intention was that Adam and Eve would tend the garden and keep growing and multiplying until it would cover the earth. The garden wasn’t going to stay little. It was going to grow and increase. Man is the glory of God when he is redeemed and in Christ.

1:34:45 - Psalms 8 - Says that he was the glory of God (before sin). God put Himself in man. He had flesh to manifest Himself. That’s powerful.

1:35:00 - Israel in the Wilderness - As surely as I live the whole earth will be filled with my glory - Num. 14:21. I will raise up a people that love not their own life unto death. There is a people that love me more than their own selves. That’s what God was saying. A people redeemed and restored to be what Adam was intended to be. Last Adam. This was a prophecy.

1:36:45 - Let’s pursue and let this be in our day. Every generation has this possibility. Cover the earth with His glory. We can be this people. But we have to deepen the reason that we are saved. Our lives together will make a greater impact.

1:38:30 - Manifest. Others will see and believe. Goats / Sheep.

1:39:30 - Take time for the one. One + one +... adds up.

1:39:45 - Lady preaches after healing (in Mississippi) Out of wheelchair. Doing exercises. Impact is always bigger than you think.

Philippians 3 - Keep Growing - There’s More to Grow Into

4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

1:41:30 - I wanted to go to Phil. 3:7+… Paul is talking about his flesh inheritance - his background as a Pharisees.

Special emphasis on:

1:44:15 - v.10 - That I may know Him - Who is the standard? The apostle Paul or Jesus? Jesus is the standard.

1:44:50 - Side note: Children understand things. Grandchild understanding grandpa praying.

1:46:05 - That I may know Him, and the power of his resurrection - He knows Him - but there is so much more. I haven’t scratched the surface of what’s in His kingdom. And the more I walk in it, the more I can multiply it. I’ve really seen nothing yet. I’ve got to know Him. I feel like I do but I’ve got to know Him more. That’s his heart cry. So don’t ever make a man the standard. Jesus is the standard.

1:46:50 - Paul leaving companion behind sick - Trophimus. That’s why he is crying out to know Him more - so he doesn’t have to do that again.

1:47:40 - v.12 - Not that I have already attained - I thank God for all that He is doing but this thing is only starting to roll. I haven’t gotten there yet.

1:48:30 - I don’t talk about many of the people I pray for. It does something weird in me. “Why are you drinking the same cup twice when there are bottles and bottles to be poured forth?” I had been riding the testimonies and it was my affirmation.

1:50:00 - v.14 - I press on - Do you hear purpose in this verse. As the Father sent me, so I send you. I am pressing in to see the consummation of that.

1:50:40 - v.13 - forgetting what lies behind - He’s not riding the momentum of yesterday. He’s riding the momentum of the kingdom. I know the power of remembering and testimonies. But there is a momentum of moving forward in the kingdom. And it’s because the kingdom is in me. It’s growing and growing.

1:51:25 - There are a lot of things behind us but there are a lot of things ahead of us yet to come. And He wants us living for those things. Paul is excited about the more to come - more of the kingdom manifesting through us - more towns and cities getting saved.

1:52:45 - v.14 - toward the goal - There is a goal - a prize. You’re living in a little window called “life”. You’re living it right now. And you are going to carry it to the throne room with a legacy. So run the race worthy of a prize. That legacy will stand before the King to His honor forever. So you either loved yourself. Or you laid down your life and loved Him and others.

1:53:20 - Don’t let your legacy be that you read your Bible to get your prayers answered. It’s got to be more than that.

1:54:00 - v.15 - Therefore - I said all that to say this… He is assuming that you are spending time with God and that God is speaking to you as a Father. If you spend time with Him, you will hear from Him.

1:54:55 - v.16 - Nevertheless, no matter where you’re at in your spiritual development let’s walk together. Unity of faith.

➡ 1:56:25 - Jesus wants our lives filled with purpose - not a striving kind of purpose. We are laying a hold of that for which He laid a hold of us. We haven’t attained it but we are pressing on. We’re not living by what has happened. We’re living in what’s happening. We’re motivated. We’re moving forward. There is increase. There’s more on the horizon. Let’s go after it.

1:56:50 - So let’s not just settle into “Christianity”. Let’s grow up into Him.

1:57:00 - Closing prayer.
