Day 41

0:00 - Opening prayer - let your word become flesh. (more)...
1:30 - Grace meets faith - Have those conversations with Him all of the time. It's one thing to have that desire. It's another thing to communicate that desire to the Lord. Every time you release faith toward Him, grace comes on your life in the area you are believing. Grace is what makes you what you are expressing faith for. Grace - God's ability - God's empowerment. And what's cool about that is that you didn't bite your lip to change in that area. You're desiring, communing and all the sudden you are changed. You're not TRYING to be OK. You are OK. How do you explain that other than grace? Then all of the glory goes to God.
2:20 - People will notice.
2:40 - Change comes through communion - TRYING to change - It doesn't really work. But express the desire of your heart. Commune.
3:35 - YESTERDAY - Talking about so many limitations that have crept into our minds - our speech - the body of Christ.

Unlimited Promise - Mt. 17:20 - Nothing Impossible

3:50 - Right now let's just scroll through some scripture for a second...
4:00 - We read the promise in Mt. 17 - v.20 - And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. - If you have faith - not the person you are praying for - get that straight.
4:20 - Nothing impossible. Nothing in the Greek means nothing. Jesus spoke that. Don't let anything else rise above that. That's a promise.
5:15 - My place and your place is to grow into that truth. It might not be our reality. It might not be our experience. But He still said it.
5:25 - Where do we get the right to reinterpret what He clearly said? - Where do we assume the right to talk around it when He said it. At what point do we draw a line (saying it can't be true) based on time frames, based on unanswered prayers...? Where do we get the right to draw the line and say, "He must have meant something else." Or tweak what He said because of our experience?
6:00 - Our privilege is to grow into what He said. We grow up into Him in all things - Eph. 4:15. Some things we haven't grown up into - because the soul is involved - the feelings are involved - some of the emotions that are still being refined in us are involved. Sometimes we assume the right to say things and believe things and explain things apart from Him and His life live. Jesus and His life lived reveals God.

Unlimited Promise - Mt. 21:21-22 - Whatever You Ask

7:00 - Mt. 21:21 - Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. - Do not doubt - That's a little extra phrase that's not in Mt. 17:20.
7:25 - Believe - Settle the will of God to heal - fully persuaded. If the will of God is not settled in your heart, how can you not have doubt. If you start opening your heart to other possibilities - explanations - doubts.
8:50 - Eye of the needle - His life lived - That's why we have got to go through the eye of the needle called His life lived. If you can't find these things (explanations, excuses, etc.) in His life then they shouldn't be in our belief system. Don't open up your mind to anything else. You want to get that rigid with what I am saying that you can't see anything else.
9:20 - Do you think that Jesus could see anything else? Then why should we? Prayer and fasting is a tool to help with that.
9:30 - I hope to get into Prayer and Fasting today.
9:55 - v.22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. - Whatever. No limitation. He's the one giving the promise. He has to be OK with what He is saying.
11:30 - Rejection and controversy didn't slow down Jesus - Jesus was not received at large - controversy. But it didn't stop a single thing that He came to do. That ought to teach us. He was not limited or hindered because of people.
11:55 - Jesus visiting hometown - Nazareth - He could do no mighty works - They didn't bring out the sick people. It doesn't mean that He prayed for a sick person and they stayed sick. It means they thought He was kookoo. They didn't bring the sick.
12:25 - We know this guy. Who does He think He is. Don't put unbelief on the people as a reason for Jesus' prayers not being effective. They just didn't bring them. The Bible says that He healed all.
13:30 - Some preach it to mean that if you can't believe, you can't receive. It's about the person praying in faith not the sick person. Don't open a door for anything else.
14:10 - Jesus was constantly surrounded by controversy. And yet He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil - Act 10:38. No exceptions.
14:50 - v.22 - There are no exceptions.

Unlimited Promise - Mark 11:22-24 - Have Faith in God

15:20 - Mark 11:23 -24 - For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. - Sounds like the same verse we just read but look where the authority comes from...

Faith & The Unrenewed Mind

16:15 - v.22 - And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. - Your faith is in God. It's not in you or in doing the right things. It's not in praying.
16:30 - If your perspective of God isn't clear how can your faith be clear? If you are not sure about who He is in the situation, how can you have faith in God.
17:20 - This verse sounds alot like Mt. 21:21-22 but He doesn't say what He says in Mark 11:22. So that's a little different. He says, Have faith in God... and then He gives the promise.
18:00 - Faith comes out of knowing Him - Have faith in God - in other words - if you know the nature of God, if you know the will of God through the word, through Jesus' life and you know the heart of God for the situation that's where faith comes from. Faith comes out of knowing Him.
18:20 - We're not TRYING to have faith. When you know Him, faith is the spontaneous result of that relationship. Faith is birthed and found in knowing Him. Or you shift into works and you are trying to pray the right way or do the right thing or connect the right way - as if you are TRYING to get a move of God. There is a move of God. The stone is rolled away. The Spirit of God is on the earth. There is a "yes and amen" from heaven - for all the promises are yes and amen.
18:55 - Pastor Don W.'s comments - That addresses a lot of the questions people have when they pray a prayer, look at that promise and question why it didn't happen. But sometimes what we were asking wasn't in line with the nature and will of God.
19:20 - People use this promise to contest God.
19:50 - When you ascribe sickness to God's will then you totally survert faith.
20:20 - Video of disaffected faith proponent - Did all of these things for healing. But it's not works. None of those things is what heals him.
20:35 - Not works - We put our faith in what we are doing when it is the finished work of Jesus that restores him. It's not about all of that stuff. It's not about banners and music and being around his bed praying in tongues the whole time. It's about believing.
21:00 - When you do all of those other things, it's actually the expression of doubt because you are looking out of the corner of your eye wondering if it's working. There's not a "knowing" in that. If there was a "knowing" you wouldn't be doing all of that because God didn't say put up a banner and blow a shofar. God said pray and believe. It's not what we do. It's what He's already done. Have faith in God, not your efforts.
21:55 - Knowing Him - Knowing Him is the biggest deal on the planet. Freedom, peace. It means everything. Knowing Him changes our lives. Knowing Him is where you see through the eye of faith because you know Him. You become one with Him. You look at the situation and see what He sees.
22:30 - Jesus said the Father and I are one - John 10:30. And we are trying to follow Jesus' life. Do you see why we spend so much time on knowing Him and intimacy with God?
22:50 - Spinning mind - Submit to God - You can't afford to let your mind spin. That's a trap and a lie. It's not even a right or privilege. Shut it all down and keep looking to Him. Submit to God. Your biggest challenge is not with the devil or the circumstance, it's submitting to God. Your biggest fight of faith is submitting to God. Because everything else is screaming.
23:20 - If you don't submit to God, how are you going to have faith in God? If you don't establish through the life of Jesus the will of God in a matter, how can you have faith in God?
23:50 - We need to be teaching more on the heart of God in sending the Son and who we are because of Him and have faith in God. The clearer that I see God's will in a situation, I'm not TRYING to have faith, it's just His will.
24:15 - We're supposed to know the will of God - Don't be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you can prove the good, acceptable perfect will of God - Rom. 12:2. We're supposed to know the will of God. Many circles have the mindset that no one can know the will of God. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. - Eph. 5:17.
25:20 - Jesus is the will of God revealed - Not our circumstances - We have fought over the will of God. And we have determined the will of God according to what we've been through - what we've experienced. The only reason that we fight over the will of God is because we have come up with the will of God based on many circumstances. The will of God is only ever found through the life of Jesus. He is the will of God revealed. He is the "tada" of God. God came out like He is through Jesus. He put flesh on Jesus and sent Him as an ambassador of the Father. He's the full expression of His image and person - Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; - Heb. 1:3. He's the visible image of the invisible God - Col. 1:15. When you see Him you've seen the Father - John 14:9.
26:15 - No beliefs apart from Jesus - You can't allow a belief in your life that can't be found in the life of Jesus. The life of Jesus is the action of God. It's God putting the word into action. It's the word becoming flesh and dwelling among us. And we know God through the word that lives. You can't look anywhere else. Change anything else.
27:10 - Tree of the knowledge of good and evil - The mind as god - Much of the language that we encounter is an expression of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We make our minds gods. We put a lot of stock in our ability to think. And there is a pride in that and a twist in that. People say, "Well, God made me that way." God didn't make you that way. We became that way when we heeded another voice. And that voice is still speaking.
27:45 - In the Garden before sin - You are in the garden before sin through Christ. The tree is still there and the voice is still speaking. Follow God. God is Jesus. The voice is still speaking every day of your life. But you are in the garden as if you had never touched that tree - renewed in the spirit of your mind - not conformed to that but transformed, renewed. Christ is your redemption. Truth has come and made me free. But the voice never stops speaking. The tree is always there every day. You have the privilege of eating it or following Christ.
28:30 - The voice of the enemy is very sneaky. It takes what God says and does and complicates it - expands it - implies that it knows God. (Implicates God...)
29:20 - Accusing God - Marring the image of God so that we can't have faith - Bad things happen to people and they immediately look to God as if He is the culprit - when people make choices and do things. If you were the enemy wouldn't you do this? A mindset creeps in that accuses God for everything that happens. So that we can never see the true picture of who He is and never have faith in God. If my life has a problem, it has to be God. "Why did God do that?" God gives us responsibility and then we accuse God when things go wrong. Why does the enemy do this? To mar the image of God so that we can never put faith in Him.
30:15 - God isn't intervening in something He has given to us - We have a picture of God in a Cape, intervening and rescuing. A husband beating a wife and God just stepping in the middle. And if He didn't, "Why?" and "He let it happen" and "It's His fault." When God has given the earth to the children of men. And you reap what you sow. And the power of life and death is in your mouth.
30:45 - Following the experiences of one another - Following after Eve - God has done everything to get us to walk with Him. But we are listening to this other voice like Eve did. Then Adam followed her. "You heeded the voice of your wife instead of me. And how many times have we followed the voices of one another - the experiences of one another. The snake is speaking all the time. Whisper, whisper.
31:25 - The enemy's whispers regarding healing. [Conversation scenarios] Yielding to those whispers.
32:10 - Jesus healed all. People came to touch Him.
32:40 - Faith of the sick person - Jesus acknowledged the faith of the sick person in a couple of instances and we turn it into you have to have faith. But what about all the other people Jesus healed and didn't acknowledge their faith. I wonder how they got healed.
33:00 - In Mt. 17 the dad cries out, "Help my unbelief!" And Jesus heals the boy anyway. If we hear that today..."You're asking me to pray and you don't even believe? You have to believe."

* * *

33:25 - Where does the scripture say that God wants a relationship with me? - It's all over the scriptures that God said to know Him.
33:45 - 1 John 1 specifically says that our fellowship is with the Father and the Son - 1 John 1:3. Fellowship - intimacy, union, communion.
34:00 - 2 Cor. 13 - Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all - 2 Cor. 13:14. Phil. 2 - If there be any fellowship with Holy Spirit - Phil. 2:1. There's a few.

No Room for Anything but Jesus & His Life Lived

34:20 - Fill your heart with the word so the word lives your life for you. If you don't fill your heart with God's word, that voice that's speaking in the garden of your life will make sense. If you fill your heart with God's word that voice that is speaking will be exposed and start sounding really strange.
34:45 - Prayer and fasting - has a direct relationship with the word filling your heart. In all your getting get understanding - Prov. 4:7. And how are you going to get understanding unless you fill your heart with truth - and the word is truth - Jesus is truth - Jesus is the word.
35:15 - Truth - Jesus and His life lived - Truth is my best friend. His name is Jesus. His life is truth to me. He's also the word. He was with God in the beginning. Then God made the word flesh - Jesus. He put a body on the word. He did just come and impart doctrine, He lived a life before us. So if our doctrine doesn't agree with His life lived we are deceived.
36:00 - No room for anything else - You don't want room for anything else. There's not room for "yeah buts." If you get into the word and get before the Lord and ask Him to reveal truth and begin to see in a way to where Jesus and His life lived is all you start seeing. And there is no way that you can see anything else. That's where I want the word to take me. That had to be where Jesus lived. He couldn't see anything else.

Surely One Person Had Faith

36:35 - Why isn't everyone healed? - I think we do know. I think there are tons of reasons. We're striving. We're in works. I think we are in need and fear and anxiety and frustration. I think a lot of our questions have to do with the flesh and not even the spirit and loving God - just needing God. The list is long.
37:00 - Just like in Mt. 17 - Even after you see healings, when something doesn't happen your mind goes bonkers.
37:40 - Participant comment - Thousands of people praying for a good man - Surely one person out of all the people praying had faith.
37:50 - Surely one person had faith - watch the danger in that - then Mt. 17 is a lie. If you say to the mountain move it will move if you have faith. So what you are saying is that at least one person had faith and the mountain didn't move - God wan't faithful. You're not doing that intentionally. But it's what we have done for generations.
38:30 - [Restating the scenario] Surely somebody believed.
38:45 - If somebody believed the mountain moves, that's all I know. You have whatever you ask believing in prayer. That's all I know.
39:00 - Epileptic boy - questioning - The epileptic boy is being prayed for by 9 guys that are walking with Jesus daily. Seeing miracles daily. Now they go to pray for the boy with visual seizures. And it's not changing. And something happened here (in the mind). And Jesus called them corrupted minded, twisted thinking people. What happened to the disciples? That line of questioning that you just went on. "I wonder why he is still seizing? I wonder why he isn't healed yet? If Jesus was here, he would be healed by now. I wonder what we are doing wrong."
39:40 - Striving in the flesh - Those questions trigger you into the flesh. Then it's a works thing. [Example - coma]

When Nothing Seems to Change

40:00 - Praying for wife on respirator - nothing seemed to change when I prayed. I knew, because it was such a visual thing, that if I kept praying, I would throw myself into unbelief, waiting for a manifestation.
40:30 - Manifestations - If we don't see a manifestation nothing happened - We are so big on manifestations in the church, we are way deceived. It's teaching us to live by sight and sensuality. If we don't feel fire, if we don't feel heat, if we don't see gold dust, if they don't move, if they don't open their eyes, nothing happened. When do you just believe God and be at peace in your heart?
41:00 - Peace in your heart - sign of believing - The real sign of believing is when you have peace in your heart.
41:10 - Shifting into unbelief - We pray for someone and we don't see a change and immediately the mind shifts into the doubt of, "I hope it's working. I hope they are better next time." And it reduces to hope instead of knowing. If they don't improve then you are praying trying to get a breakthrough because "it doesn't look good."
42:10 - Visuals - letting what I see dictate what I believe. I hate it because it's a tendency. It happened to His own disciples that walked with Him every day.
42:30 - We came up with explanations instead of going back to Jesus' explanation - Somewhere along the way, Jesus wasn't right there to explain it an the church came up with ideas. Somewhere along the way, someone wasn't healed and the church explained it instead of Jesus. And the church shot herself in the foot.
42:50 - [Back to the question and it's scenario] - Only time will tell the whole situation. But God forbid that you take a natural explanation... I don't care if the whole world is praying.
43:00 - Prayer chains aren't impressive to heaven. Prayer chains are more of a sign of unbelief most of the time. You think that if you have everybody in the world praying, that's a sure sign that God is going to move. That's a sure sign that you don't even understand what we are teaching. What does it matter if a thousand people are praying? We are praying because there is need. You don't want a man to die. "Oh my God, come on God, heal."
43:40 - Fingers crossed prayers - The reason that the church is so disconcerted when the person dies is that we weren't believing in the first place. We're shooting in the dark. And when He dies we're more confused because we are already fingers crossed prayers. We take the gospel and turn it into principles that we apply, promises that we quote, scriptures that we put all over the fridge and we wonder, "Why isn't it working?" And we reveal in our language that the gospel is a method to us and not a relationship.
44:20 - Renew the twisted mind - You better challenge your mind if it's not renewed. This thing is presumptuous and wicked and proud if it's not renewed. It has attitude. And it's sure that it's right when it's way wrong most of the time. It's created to be renewed and in agreement with God.
44:45 - Watching friend pass away of cancer - It broke my heart. Jesus, you've got to help me... He showed me two people that I had lost to cancer that kept running through my mind. And every time I would pray for this friend, my mind would say, "Here we go again."
45:10 - Praying from fear, desperation, intimidation - Then I would pray really aggressively. And I would sound like a warrior - quote every promise. That means nothing (to heaven) but it means something to us because it sounds spiritual. But what if the whole motive that I am doing that in is that I'm afraid and I am running and I am intimidated... and now I am raising my voice and quoting extra scripture because I am, in my heart saying, "God, we are losing this man."
45:50 - At the same time we say. "Well, Dan was praying. He's seen miracles. We know he believes. Why wasn't he healed if Dan was praying?" You are taking my life and challenging the word of God - the faithfulness of God. It shows how far we have to go.
46:20 - "Don't speak that" - it shows that we are living on eggshells.
46:45 - If cancer should kill me, don't dare get confused. Don't change the gospel. You settle that His word is true. Settle that Jesus' life is the revelation of God's word and not mine. I'm pursuing that but I am a man in process. Jesus is Lord.
47:15 - Don't interpret the gospel through circumstances - Don't get your eyes so fixed on a circumstance that you begin to interpret the gospel through a situation. Why would Jesus' answer be different than Mt. 17? It won't be. Or He would give us other examples in His word.
47:45 - He's given us what we need - Do you think He would ask us to run a race without everything that we need? Do you think He said is incomplete? Or do you think He has given us what we need? He's not a man that He should lie.
48:35 - We're not seeing clearly - So if you speak to the mountain and it doesn't move then we are not seeing as clearly as we could. It doesn't mean <scolding>, "Well, you don't have faith." It means that we're not seeing. We're moved by many other things.
48:55 - Looking through losses - Watching friend pass away of cancer (cont.) - What more do I need to see? (Not what more do I do? - It's not works). I've got to see clearer. Dan, even with your building resume of miracles. The losses still have a voice and you are looking through them. Don't wrestle with God in conversation. Proud. The losses had a voice.
51:20 - Questioning subverts authority - We carry very little authority because of what we fail to see and understand. We have so many questions... It all subverts authority. We have very little knowing.
51:30 - We reduce healing to a method - Knowing of the mind only will mess you up. You know what the Bible says. And then we pray all of the right scriptures. And then we try to argue and contest that we are believing it. No we are trying it. We've reduced it to a method. "I've tried that." It's not a method but a lifestyle. I give my life to Him. And I am going to run this race worthy of a prize. And I am going to find understanding.
52:20 - Leg that wouldn't grow out - Banking on a resume - Seen hundreds of legs grow out. 5 inch short leg on a 10 year old. There is something that is different to your eyes about that situation. Just sat there. Mind spins. Pressure on you. And all of the sudden you are way off course.
54:40 - Just because you know what the word of God says doesn't mean that you have a revelation and see the will of God revealed.
54:45 - Millionaire leper - in Mexico - I know how you can get your legs back. Threw her out. Asks her back. Pastor goes with her and he got born again. On the third time going back. His legs grew. Even if that testimony is a lie, it's still supposed to happen because it's in the Bible.
57:45 - Disbelief - The church doesn't believe. Lazarus - Abraham's response to the rich man - I'm not sending him back from the dead. Believe the scriptures. If you don't believe the scriptures you won't believe even it someone is raised from the dead because you will talk around it.
58:35 - I didn't want to be #2 - Leg growing out - born with leg short - heard on CDs about the 5 inch short leg. I didn't want to be #2. Your leg is coming out. They all come out. Leg never grew out. "Don't you ever turn somebody into a number again." Rational kicks in and our minds become gods again and we don't even really know what is going on. I had been all about statistics. They all come out. No, the leg grows because God loves him and he's an individual precious to Jesus. I forgot the value of the individual.
1:00:50 - We're growing - I've watched this thing run over the church - this mindset that fails to keep it's eyes on Jesus. And we are so audacious that we will dare call God unfaithful. I must grow into what the Bible says. We're growing up into Him in all things. We're not there.
1:01:10 - The Bible says that we teach and train these things until we come to the unity of faith to one mind and one spirit - to a place of agreement - til we grow up into Him in all things - Eph. 4:15. Why? Because we are not there. To the full measure of the stature of Christ - which means the outpouring of the anointing - till we grow to the full horn of the anointing that's available through the risen Son. You're not going to get there unless you keep your eyes on Jesus.
1:01:45 - Questions - You can run your mind and ask a million questions and you are setting yourself up to be more deceived. Because most of our questions are not in humility but in challenge in this area. Because we are hurt and frustrated. We have loss. And we prove to the enemy that we are taking life personally - more than the gospel and he has the edge. We're to not love our life unto death and deny ourselves. It's never about being offended.
1:02:35 - Offense - What I'm saying is offensive to a lot of minds. And that offense reveals something. The Bible says, don't you be offended. It's a snare and trap. It's a way of thinking that gives you a right that doesn't produce life.
1:03:00 - Cycling because we don't cancel "rights." Change the root, make the fruit good. Root - your belief system.
1:03:30 - Rights. Throw them away - be right with Him.
1:04:10 - Back to Mark 11 - v.22 - And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. - Have faith in who? We put faith in many things other than God - prayer chains - ministries - the person that we bring them to - the fact that we drove 5 hours.
1:05:00 - Driving long distances for prayer. Little relationship with God. It can be devastating for them.
1:05:35 - Tears of sorrow vs. tears of needing more of God.
1:06:00 - Don't let your mind run after a loss such that you are not ready to pray for the next person. I want the next baby in my arms.
1:06:30 - If you pray for 16 people with cancer and they die, you should be looking to pray for 17th. You just don't tell them that you are 0 for 16.
1:07:15 - Todd prays for the first 90 days and no one jumps for joy.
1:07:30 - Praying for wife on respirator (cont.) - with son. Prayed 20 seconds. If you pray longer, it's because she is so bad.
1:08:15 - Prayers that honor the problem - Sometimes the way that you pray reveals how you really see the situation. And you pray so long and get so technical because you see the situation as so bad.
1:08:30 - Participant comment - It can be proportionate to how bad it looks.
1:08:35 - When you do that you are actually giving power to the stronghold and problem. It's a form of honoring the problem. Jesus didn't honor leprosy. He didn't give respect to paralysis. He wasn't intimidated by that stuff. He saw it for what it was. 1:09:00 - We are intimidated. We've lost people to cancer. So what we see when we visit them takes us backwards.
1:09:20 - Praying for friend in nursing home - Unprepared - arrogant. I couldn't even recognize him. Went back home. What I saw rocked me. Prayed and got things aligned at home. I let the revelation of the finished work of Christ rise way above how he looked. Called his wife. Meet me there. Prayed. He woke up. Coma for 6 months. The next day, he was walking down the hall with a walker.
1:12:30 - Overwhelmed with visual appearance.
1:12:50 - Praying for wife on respirator (cont.) - Doesn't look like my wife. Talked right to her. Prayer of authority and left.
1:15:00 - Making a special effort in prayer and waiting for a reaction, throwing all of your prayers into unbelief most of the time and into works. When do you just believe?
1:15:20 - Praying for wife on respirator (cont.) - Son breaks down in hall. You did see what I see and I don't see what you see. I see Jesus and He is King. Let's go home. You're going to school tomorrow. I want to teach him to live differently from the world. No permission for depression. No embracing tears.
1:18:20 - Crying - not saying it's wrong to cry. But that stuff means a lot in the spirit. It's an expression. It sets the tone for the foundation of where you are praying from.
1:18:50 - Praying for wife on respirator (cont.) - In an hour and a half she opened her eyes. Next morning. Doctor - we didn't do this. Conversations with doctor.
1:21:00 - Son cries. What are you doing? You want to be in a place where there is no permission to be outside of Him. Doctor conversations. Hug. Testimonies that came out of that.
1:23:00 - Prepare before the storm - The medical professionals had seen people make a mad dash to God when trouble arises and people went on to die. No, you make a mad dash to God beforehand and when trouble arises, the gospel defends you. You don't wait until trouble arises and then make a mad dash for God.
1:23:20 - You train your soul for battle. We all have the hearts to believe and see victory. The mind is the trouble. You want this thing renewed.
1:23:45 - I got on a long thing there but I want you to see... when you pray and don't see something change.
1:23:55 - Praying for friend in nursing home - Unprepared - Recap of story. Regrouped. The gospel is greater than that condition.

* * *

1:24:30 - Back to Mark 11 - v.22-23a - And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain... - Whoever. Then why are we on so many prayer chains.
1:24:50 - Prayer chains can become fear lines - to comfort the soul.
1:25:10 - Neck Ministries - Doesn't take prayer requests. Our whole emphasis is to stir the body of Christ to be the body of Christ. The need is too great for only a few to handle. We're all entitled to the kingdom - called to be a believer. Called to run well.

Exhaustion, Weariness, Laying Down Life & Pampering of Self

1:26:40 - John G. Lake in Africa - overwhelmed with the need. Wife died of exhaustion. Laid down her life.
1:27:30 - Laying down your life.
1:27:45 - Pampering ourselves in the church.
1:28:00 - Tired - I don't understand tired. Ministry wearing you down.
1:28:40 - Paul went through a lot of hardships. He really gave himself. We live pampered.
1:29:00 - David Hogan's work - You won't be pampered down there. Sober. He will wake you up. Embrace the message.

1:30:10 - BREAK

When Nothing Seems to Happen (cont.)

1:30:15 - Back to Mark 11 - v.22-24 - And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
1:30:40 - Sometimes we are taught to say it and say it and say it again. In the case of my wife, I knew that if I kept on praying it would throw me into something that is more in agreement with unbelief. But it's not a method. It's where faith is. Sometimes there is a reaffirming of authority. Like hitting a hammer on a hard rock. "I said you leave." It would be good to stick in that line of prayer.
1:31:20 - Prayer of thanks for flourishing the kingdom
1:31:30 - Healings that manifest later - Revisiting churches. Countless testimonies of healing that manifest in the days after Dan leaves. We want to go for right now. Lepers healed as they went down the road.
1:32:15 - Is it OK for me to pray for the sick even though I'm growing? - It's totally OK. Humility in what you are saying. Look, I know that I am still growing and it seems like a struggle to me but there is no struggle with You. You love people and You want to heal and I want to get to know that. I'm not backing down. I'm going to pray for the sick. There is a statement of faith in that. Or you will wait until you are ready... When are you ever going to bust out of the phone booth and be Super Christian?
1:33:25 - Heal through me? - You already have the conviction that God wants to heal. Now you just need to know that God wants to heal through me.
1:35:00 - Taking people and raising them above scripture. If anyone is going to be healed it's going to be sister Sally. We're not to raise flesh and flesh's experience above truth. Truth calls us to a higher place.
1:36:00 - It's not happening - Phone call yesterday - We are struggling receiving. I don't know that you are struggling. You understand that it's the will of God to heal. You just prayed and the pain didn't leave right away. So what's wrong... and now they are thrown into all of these questions. So now they are calling me so that the pain goes away. I wrestle with this. I want to pray but it sends the wrong message.
1:36:50 - Outward appearances - As long as you think you are doing something wrong, you will never grow in faith. You are never really believing. You are looking at outward appearances. If you don't see it. It isn't happening. If you had prayed for my wife you would have been in trouble because she was still sucking on the respirator.
1:37:10 - Stay in faith even when what you are praying for doesn't seem to be happening. "Hey, I don't have spiritual authority." You can't do that. You look at the person and say, "Hey, I appreciate you giving me the time to pray. The Bible says if I lay hands on the sick, believing they will recover. God is so good. I am expecting change in your body. That's not a cop out. I'm sincere. Thank you for the honor of letting me pray for you." And when you leave - Father, thank you for the kingdom in me. And stepping me out in this to where you are moving and healing and restoring. I thank you for your goodness.
1:38:00 - Healings that manifest later - People coming up later testifying of how they got better later. Wake up healed.
1:38:50 - You are the one representing the kingdom.
1:38:55 - Analogy: Faith to plug into power. Faith is not something you plug and unplug. You live by faith.
1:39:35 - Faith is the position of your heart to receive what He accomplished. You don't change your mind. You don't plug and unplug - trying it again. No, you settle God's will and just keep hitting the hard stone that has to break.
1:40:35 - Degrees of sickness - irrelevant - Participant's comment - degrees of sickness. But it really doesn't matter what they have. A lot of times I don't even ask what the problem is. Whatever it is, it's against the will of God.
1:41:20 - The natural knowledge of their condition could actually stumble your soul because you see what they are going through.
1:42:45 - You have to have the basis of faith behind that kind of outlook.
1:43:00 - Wife burned - He loves us - grease across hand. Prayed all this stuff. Something wasn't right. What am I missing? You are so aggressive and zealous to pray everything that you are learning that you forget the very reason that you can pray. It's because He loves my wife. It's not because I'm praying all these scriptures. Thanked God for loving us. Pain went away. Dan, don't praise Him yet. Jesus loves it when His people go for the finished work. Screaming because she was watching the burns disappear. I had said everything right from all of the wrong places. Applying knowledge.
1:47:15 - Faith works through love - That's why receiving God's love is a big deal. Because faith works through love. If you are struggling to receive God's love you are automatically reducing the gospel to a method by which you get help and then He has to continually prove His love.
1:48:00 - Church administrator - she could hardly stand up - Your knowledge isn't what changes the world. He changes the world.
1:48:15 - I couldn't talk - Church stroking Dan - God is moving through you. Yes, He is. Word of knowledge for this lady. Ken doll. Atmosphere was amazing. I couldn't talk. "See Dan, you couldn't even talk, if I didn't let you." Cried hard. Confession before congregation. Asking Him to father me. It was a weird thing going on in me. He stopped me because He was fathering me and keeping me from trouble down the line.
1:52:30 - Father me - one of the best prayers you can pray. Father, I thank you that I am your son and I ask you to father me. Say whatever you have to say. Do whatever you must do. But my heart is to never miss you - misrepresent you. I don't want to ever live in the flesh - live in pride. And I am more confident in your ability to keep me than my ability to fail. So I am not going to focus on failing. I am going to run and I am going to run hard. You keep me on course. Thanks for loving me. (more)...

Unlimited Promise - John 14:13-14 - Whatever You Ask

1:53:50 - John 14 real quick...
1:54:10 - v.10-11 - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. -
1:54:30 - v.12 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. -
1:54:45 - v.13-14 - And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it- That's an amazing promise.

Unlimited Promise - John 15:7 - Ask Whatever

1:55:00 - John 15 - v.7 - If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. - Fill your heart with the word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith and the word and love is all the same to me.
1:55:50 - Need vs. Faith - Faith doesn't come through the need - fear and anxiety does usually. Faith comes through knowing Him. A lot of the times that we pray, it's just because of the trouble we are in. Any body praying doesn't move the mountain. It's the prayer of faith that moves the mountain - knowing God in the situation.
1:56:15 - Abide - dwell, live and remain. So if you are living in His word you are not going to ask for weird things. You are one with Him. You only do the things that please Him.
1:56:45 - v.8 - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. - You can't show me a limitation in that except us not abiding.

Unlimited Promise - James 5:15 - The Prayer of Faith

1:57:20 - James 5 - v.13 - Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. -
1:57:45 - v.14 - Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: -
1:58:00 - Prayers of the heart - expressions of the heart - getting your eyes on Him. Your biggest challenge in the midst of trial is not fighting the devil but submitting to God.
1:58:20 - It's OK to ask for prayer - People are afraid of confessing sickness and taking ownership of sickness. But this scripture says to call for the elders. We can tell people what we are going through.
1:59:00 - Healed waiting for the manifestation.
2:00:00 - Praying for yourself - Sometimes we see better results in others than we do in ourselves. A lot of that is because of the sensual element right in the face of what you are praying. It's trying to reduce what you are praying to a method. Trying things.
2:00:55 - No limitation in this...
2:01:05 - v.15 - And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. - The prayer of faith is my power. It's the same.
2:01:45 - Faith - Electric fan analogy.
2:02:40 - Staying in faith without slipping into weird denial.
2:03:20 - I want to see the healing now - when that doesn't happen - When they are not healed immediately - my biggest struggle. But when do you just believe God. Not slipping into striving and works. Regroup and release faith.
2:04:45 - Time frames for healing manifesting.
2:05:00 - No change? Pray again. Check your bodies.
2:05:30 - Testimonies from the weekend - 100% healed. But in the ones that didn't stand - didn't ask for prayer at first - nothing changed in their bodies. If you are not careful you might think that something is blocking healing. But faith depends on the one praying.
2:07:00 - Protecting those that aren't healed.
2:07:30 - Releasing people in faith.
2:09:30 - v.15
2:09:40 - David Hogan testimonies - When do you just believe God? Stop living out of your eyes. Live out of your heart. Most of the miracles they have are 1, 2 and 3 days later. Most of us would be shipwrecked over that. We don't know how to release them in faith and move on to the next village.
2:11:00 - Brains on the ground - laid him on the bench - got up and ask dad to go - I'm hungry. When does God get bigger than our hearts than the brains on the rock.
2:12:20 - Asking God to grow us in revelation. Brains on the ground vs. God.
2:13:00 - Church administrator (cont.) - call Dan. Sure I can pray. Presumptuous. Something not right. "Hey Dan, can I minister now?" Holy Spirit wasn't impressed. You are putting all of your faith in your ability to pray. But I really love her. My motive cut Him off. My zeal and faith in my prayer cut Him off from ministering. And He is sitting there wanting to minister. Cry and repent. She immediately sensed Him. Hung up. She was stuck on the chair for four hours. Nothing to do with me.

Love

2:15:35 - 1 John 5...
2:15:55 - v.1 - Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. - Whoever! No exceptions. Whoever believes...
2:16:15 - Challenges to the word - The questions that we ask reveal that we are not yet persuaded. We're still wrestling and challenging. There is a line of questions that you can have regarding healing that never challenges the root truth of healing, they are just seeking understanding to grow in that truth. But a lot of the questions that we ask reveal that we really haven't settled the will of God to heal. You're not fully convinced. You're still searching for a foundation.
2:17:00 - Don't let experience challenge God's word. The biggest error that the church makes. Defining God through experience. You define God through Jesus.
2:17:30 - v.2 - By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. - It's impossible to sincerely love God and keep His word and not love one another. He flips it and says that the obvious evidence that we love one another is when we love God and keep His commandments. Because if we love God and are keeping His commandments we have to love each other. Or you say you know God...
2:18:25 - If you say that you know God and don't love your brother, you're lying. Get a grip. You have a Christian confession but not a revelation and reality. Your confession doesn't take the place of your relationship with God.
2:18:55 - v.3 - For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. -
2:19:05 - v.4 - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. - Contending for the faith. Fighting the good fight of faith.
2:20:00 - Armor of God - Contending for the faith - pertains to identity.
2:20:55 - TOMORROW - Tongues & Fasting - We are so set up for it - what the mind does. One of the most important things you do to get your mind in order.

Whoever Receiving Whatever

2:22:15 - Mark 11 - v.22-24 - We covered this verse this morning but I want you to see something that we didn't talk about. - And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Whoever receiving whatever. No limitation there. Unlimited promise. God is trying to teach us faith.
2:22:55 - Whoever and whatever - That means you and no matter what. It doesn't matter if it's terminal cancer.
2:23:50 - Pool of Bethsaida - The whoever, whatever pool - John 5 - Jesus at the pool of Bethsaida - The whoever, whatever pool.
2:24:30 - v.4For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. - Whoever and whatever. The pool points to Jesus.
2:26:00 - It's for us to grow into. The biggest enemy is the unrenewed mind. Let it die. God's not against the mind but the unrenewed mind.
