HCSKL 2011 Notes‎ > ‎

Day 36 (2011)

2:00 - Sacrament of Communion is an act of relationship - I am in love - not a tradition, not an ordinance - we are remembering Him and what He accomplished - remembering His death.

2:40 - Receiving communion

3:15 - Shake yourself from becoming familiar with the message. Because it’s not a message but a relationship. You’re not serving a doctrine or a principle, you are in relationship with Almighty God. I am in love. Jesus is alive. We are called into fellowship through His Son.

4:15 - Ministering to others - You already know who you are so you are not doing it for yourself. It’s amazing what He will show you. Because He loves people.

4:45 - Girl asks for prayer - living real closed.

5:50 - Talk intimately, personally with Him. Be real with Him

6:00 - Sacrament of Communion & 134:00

6 :45 - You don’t have to pump yourself up. It’s your job to live by faith. And as you live by faith, grace will quicken your heart. As you stay in this race, as you stay consistent, grace will make you alive on the inside.

7:40 - Healing stories from the weekend - shoulder - herniated disk - couldn’t bend.

Sacrament of Communion

Remembering Why Healing is Even Possible

10:10 - 1 Corinthians 11 -  1 Cor. 11:27 - Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. Let’s back up and look at the context.

V.17-22 - The Corinthians were not doing well with the communion elements. They were eating the bread for lunch and drinking the wine to feel happy. Divisions / factions - the Bible calls us to unity. It’s amazing how divisions happen when God is moving in a special way. Sounds like a war is going on.

11:40 - Sin defined - Anything that is not of faith - Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and the works of the devil is sin. Sin is selfishness. The Bible defines sin in two places in the New Testament. 1) Anything that is not of faith - Romans 14:23 (and James 4:17 - knowing what to do and not doing it).

11:55 - Point people towards faith by ministering truth - Don't overemphasize ministering to feelings - That is why I am not real big on ministering to people’s feelings but ministering truth to their heart (so they can have faith in truth, apart from how they FEEL). I don’t want to teach people to not live by faith (living by feelings is not living by faith). Because anything that is not of faith is sin. And it is impossible to please God without faith. So who cares how I FEEL, it matters what He says.

12:40 - Pray for people even when you don't FEEL up to it - That's faith - Participant letter - I saw the most significant healings when I didn’t FEEL particularly prepared, or when I didn’t FEEL like I was on a spiritual high. Sometimes when people don’t FEEL prepared they step back and don’t pray. You don’t have to ride some spiritual wave. You live in Christ. You aren’t trying to get pumped up to minister. Because if you don’t FEEL pumped, you’ll back off. This girl didn’t back off. I probably felt a little anxious. You’ve just got to get a hold of your anxiousness, self-consciousness, unprepared, etc.

13:45 - The voice of the enemy seeks to discourage and shut you down - “You are not in a position to heal.” That comes immediately. Why? Because the enemy wants to get inside your head and shut everything down. He’s afraid of the kingdom.

14:10 - Settle yourself before praying - You are prepared with what He has already accomplished - Letter (continued) - Before praying, I took a moment to settle myself and told doubt and worry to get out and reaffirmed how Christ has moved through me in the past.

14:30 - You are prepared by faith in what He has already accomplished. When people don’t FEEL prepared, they back up and don’t pray. It’s not your prayer that heals anybody anyway. It’s what you believe about what He accomplished and His love for the person. That is what we are getting past, growing past.

14:50 - There's a war going on in your head when you pray - self-consciousness - We've got all of this war going on when we pray. Self-consciousness tries to run us over like a freight train. Self-consciousness about what you are saying and what you are doing and that sensual realm. What she did was good. You know it doesn’t matter how I FEEL. I’m not in denial -  I realize I feel these things but what does that matter? It’s about who I am in Christ. It’s not about me being prepared or me being on a spiritual high. It’s about Jesus being Lord. It’s about His grace and mercy.

16:55 - Paul needed to correct the Corinthians - It’s ok to talk straight and correct people. You don’t want them to miss the blessing of truth. Make sure it is in love.

18:15 - Now he is sharing the beauty of communion. You are taking this thing lightly and misunderstanding. Reducing communion to religious practice. Where are your hearts.

18:55 - v.23 - For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: -

God will speak clearly to you - Fellowship with Him - Paul received this straight from the Lord. It doesn’t say he received it from reading the gospel accounts. And yet they agree. That means that Jesus will speak to you clearly.

19:40 - Holy Spirit says, Let’s go run together - day before almost eaten by 3 dogs - taking authority - laughing, yelling - Todd snoring.

24:30 - Fellowship with Jesus is what we are called into. You can invite Him into your activities. We grow in fellowship with Him.

26:50 - v.24 - And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. - bread / body broken for you. Cup of the new covenant. That means righteousness without guilt, condemnation or shame.

27:40 - You are extremely valuable to God - Father, when You see me, You smile. It was Your good pleasure to give me the kingdom. Good pleasure - it made You feel good to give me the kingdom. It wasn't a faith risk where You said, "Oh man, let's see how this goes." It was Your good pleasure to give me the kingdom. It pleased You to bruised Your Son and cause His soul to grieve (Is. 53:10). And You made Him an offering for sin so You could reach me. So You could get to me because You value me - because You know that You created me for Your glory. I never knew that. I was trying to find my own glory. God, I surrender that, so I can walk in You. Clearly and plainly, thank You for loving me.

29:45 - He went to extreme lengths to get you back - And that is amazing news - We are wonderfully created. It pleased you to to give your Son so that You could raise us up. It almost seems too good to be true. It’s called the gospel. It pleased Him. “I made you for Me. I’ll give my Son to obtain you. I have found a pearl of great price. I’m going to give everything to obtain you. And when I get you, I am going to shine you up and wear you boldly.”

31:10 - Andrew Wommack - “The almost too good to be true gospel.” Graham Cooke - “When the gospel is preached clearly it borders on fairy tale.”

32:40 - The truth about me is out. My life lived is worth the blood of Jesus.

34:10 - v.26 - For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. -

It's a dual covenant - The blood for the remission of our sins - The body for the effect of sin in our bodies - It’s dual. It’s a covenant. It’s not just the cup but the body also. It’s not just the forgiveness of sin it’s the body too. It’s the bread. What this cup represents is an act to forgive every sin I committed - the blood of Jesus - the remission of my sin. This body was given because sin cost a price and there are effects of sin. It’s called the fall of man. And sin has bitten us in many ways and affected our bodies and our soul.

35:15 - Parallels of the cross - crown of thorns v. renewed mind - Think of the crown of thorns pushed down. Thorns representing a curse pushed down over His head. Now we get a helmet of salvation. We get a sound mind. It pleased Him to do that because He knew that we would see clear. Grace will be on the earth for them to understand - illumination of love.

37:14 - It pleased God to bruise His Son because He knew that He was going to raise Him from the dead - defeat death and the grave. He knew, with every blow people were being set free, diseases defeated - His people could be free.

37:30 - v.27 - Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
Remember what you are doing when you take communion - but don't be intimidated out of participating - Don’t be afraid of that. He is saying that because he is addressing some flagrant misbehavior. They were missing the reverence of what they were even doing. They were coming to eat and some were getting drunk. You can do the same thing by getting traditional and just going through the motions - just because it’s what we do in church - disregard the power of what you are doing - not release faith - and not be sincere.

38:30 - What was written down MUST be important - Many MIRACLES were not even recorded - God thought that it was fitting that this corrective letter be a part of His word. If the works that Jesus did were written down one by one, the world wouldn’t contain the books. However, this other stuff was written, that makes this stuff extremely important to me. God narrowed it down to the most fitting stuff and it must be enough.

39:00 - African man I read about - He found a page of the Bible - Acts 8 - Philip - came to faith - started churches - translated from village to village - God would speak audibly.

43:15 - v.28 - But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. -

Check in with your heart - Be sincere - Take inventory - Let each man examine himself… This is not a heavy verse. What it is saying is: “Check in with your heart. Be sincere. Why are you doing this (motive)? Where are you at when you are doing this?” Because the worst thing you want to do is teach yourself religion and tradition. Check in with your heart. Live with a pure heart.

44:00 - God, my heart is so for You. God, thank You for swallowing up every weakness. God, I am doing this with all of my being - with all of my heart. Thank You for your love for me...

44:20 - Check in with your heart before praying for the sick - Get settled - I'm a little bit anxious. I don't really feel prepared. What does that matter? Jesus loves this person. He loves me and it's all grace. God, thank You. Doubt and worry, you have no voice in my life. Jesus, You move through me, You'll continue to move through me. You love me. - Get settled - It’s just like when you pray for the sick and take a moment to get settled. I’m a little bit anxious. I don’t feel really prepared. What does that matter? Jesus loves this person. He is Lord. He lives inside me. It’s all grace. God thank you. Doubt and worry have no voice in my life. Jesus you have moved through me and you’ll continue to move through me. You love people. That’s what “examine yourself” means - take inventory - look inside.

45:10 - Remember with reverence what Jesus did for us - They were abusing the elements. There is a reverence we ought to have for the Lord. There is also a reverence we ought to have for one another - the beauty of who we are in Him. Think of one another more highly than yourself.

46:25 - v.29 - For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. We are in a dual covenant - Don't shortchange the body - the healing of your flesh - We are so big on the forgiveness of sin - the cup. We don’t regard the body - the bread - we get confused on healing. We don’t regard the body as much as we regard the blood. Paralytic - Which is easier to say, your sins are forgiven or rise and walk. But to show you that I have the power to forgive sin, rise and walk. What made that happen? The body. What’s the forgiveness of sins? The blood. The body is the healing of your flesh.

47:00 - John 6:53 - You eat of the flesh and drink of the blood. If you don’t do these you cannot have life. Some of us focus on the blood and fail to discern the body. We are big on pray this prayer to go to heaven. Jesus died for the remission of your sins but why did He get beaten beyond description?

47:35 - v.30 - For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. Sleep - died early. Because they didn’t discern the body.

48:30 - v.31 - For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. - It goes back to v.28 - examine yourself. Do you see what he is addressing here? They were receiving communion for the wrong reason.

49:35 - v.32 - But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.-

He's Waiting For Us To Step Into Faith - Not Enabling

God is willing to wait for us to find faith - He won't shortcut that privilege and encourage you to live in the flesh - There is a place where God sits back and waits for faith - where you reap what you sow. If He intervened He would be enabling you to live in the flesh - outside of Him.

50:00 - Enabling - We try to keep people from falling - But it doesn't help them in the long run - We will enable someone that we say we love because we don’t want to stand and watch them fall and then help them up. We try to keep them from the fall when the whole process of falling brings them to clarity of understanding and transformation. Love is a lot deeper than we understand.

50:30 - God won't enable us - He doesn't want spoiled kids - He wants us to exercise faith - So could God just prevent everything? Yes. But isn’t it amazing how men still reap what they sow. God is waiting for you to exercise faith. So that you don’t live by the flesh - so you don’t stay in the soul. If we treated our kids like we want God to treat us, people would say shame on you for spoiling your kids. One of the hardest things for a parent is to let the child experience the hard hit of their actions. But you know if you don’t do that you are just going to keep enabling the behavior. Example - Watching a loved one go to jail knowing that this is going to be the best experience of their life. Instead of paying their bail and them doing it again. Now they’ve got two crimes.

53:00 - It's hard for us not to enable when we draw identity from the ones we enable - The reason this is so hard for us to do is that we so draw our identity through those people. For example a lot of mothers, if their kids are not ok, they can’t be ok. Because they can’t see their kids by faith. You see them from a natural perspective and it is shaking you out of faith. We draw our identity through our children. There is a place for you to love like God loves and be strong and make confessions of life and not fall apart.

54:05 - Speaking life when a loved one goes to jail - Father, I thank You that this is the wake up hour of his life - that he won't be ruined in there - destroyed in there or touched in a bad way. I thank You that You touch him in there. God as he is still in the night that you come and visit him. Father, I thank You that You illuminate his understanding and he shall fulfill all of Your will. And I rejoice...and all of the sudden you are in faith so you life.

54:30 - Staying in faith for your children. Their lives shouldn’t dictate where my life is.

55:30 - v.33-34 - Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come. -

Chastisement of the Lord - What Paul is doing is kind of like the chastising thing back in Hebrews. Chastisement of the Lord is not Him just saying, “Good, you are sick. You deserve it. You made your bed, now sleep in it.” That is so not true. If that were God’s heart He would have never sent His Son.

57:00 - God knows just when to release the kind of mercy that will change our hearts - not enable us - God’s goodness leads men to repentance. If He does it excessively or if it is just expected it doesn’t bring the change of heart. So it ties God’s hands. It restricts the flow of that mercy. God knows just the time and how to show mercy and humble the human heart and change the mind. That’s called love.

57:55 - God is not interested in caving in to your tantrums - But when someone is angry - “God you better do this…” - you are putting Him in a tight spot. He wants to show mercy but if He does that you are like the spoiled child - being trained by a parent that caves to your tantrums. They are taught that this is how you get what you want. God will not do that. He is strong enough not to do that. That’s not how you get God to move.

Old Testament Confusion

59:00 - David / Bathsheba - When the scripture says, ”the Lord struck the child,” who struck the child? The whole Old Testament is full of that language. They have no revelation of satan and they have no revelation of the law of sin and death. There is all kinds of language in the book of Job, that if you took at face value, you would think the Lord kills people.

59:30 - God is not the killer - But He is the author and giver of life. He defeated him who had the power of death and told us to raise the dead. So God is not in the business of killing. He’s in the business of giving life.

100:05 - So what is killing? - Law of sin and death - Reaping what was sown - So you’ve got the law of sin and death - no blood of Jesus and a man reaping what He has sown. It’s a pretty nasty thing David did here. A man after God’s heart. Still God’s mercy is all over David. Lawfully, David deserved to die. When Nathan exposed the sin, David said, “Show me the man and we will kill him.”

103:15 - Avoid OT confusion - Understand the new covenant before you spend a lot of time in the old covenant - God smote His Son not to smite yours - so yours could live. Understand the new covenant before you spend a lot of time in the OT. Perry Stone says, “The OT is the NT concealed. The NT is the OT revealed.” It’s all pointing to the Christ - to the new covenant to come - to the new and living way.

104:00 - OT - Is God schizophrenic? - It's the law of sin and death - Reaping and sowing - I’ve talked to people who read the OT and think God is schizophrenic because one day He is showing mercy and the next day He is killing 10,000 people. It’s the law of sin and death. It’s teaching us that apart from Christ and following Him, man in and of himself is a mess and he reaps what he sows. The law tutored us to the need for a Savior. When people would reap the result of their actions, it would lead them to a place of heart cry and repentance. But it didn’t really change their hearts.

104:55 - The new covenant is designed to change the heart because it is love. Now you reap what He sowed.

105:15 - Abraham and Isaac - Not your son to die but my Son - sacrifice - Isaac carrying wood on his back, climbing a mountain - painting a picture of what was to come (in Jesus’ crucifixion). God is asking him to give his only Son. God stays his hand. And prophesies - not your son to die - My Son.

106:00 - Old Testament confusion - Understand the NT first - You are not under the law of sin and death - Don’t be confused, deceived by OT language. Make sure you understand the NT so that you can glean (pick up little bits) from the OT. If you read the OT apart from the NT you are probably going to be confused and let the devil talk you into a mess. We are not under the law of sin and death.

Free to Live Out the Expression of His Image

108:25 - Romans 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Under the new covenant you are free from sin - no longer slaves to sin - In Romans 7, Paul is talking about sin and “Who will DELIVER me from this body of death?” - Romans 7:24 -  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? He didn’t say, “Who will cover over me? Who will put up with and tolerate my pitiful condition?” I am not sin waiting to happen, I am a son empowered to manifest Him if my faith and understanding and perspective is clear. I am not a slave to sin. The Bible says I am free in regard to sin. I am a slave in regard to righteousness. Why? Because Jesus has delivered me from that body of death.

110:20 - You are not damned to sin - You now live by the Spirit, not the flesh - v.25 - I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. This is what confuses people. They say, “See, see, I am damned to sin. It’s in me. It’s in my flesh.” But he’s going into the very next verse saying you don’t live by the flesh. And the whole of Romans 8 is you live by the Spirit. Because if you live by the Spirit, it’s life and peace. If you live by the flesh, it’s death. You don’t live by the flesh. He is not saying you are damned to sin, he’s saying when you think according to the flesh and live by your own strength, your own ingenuity, your own wisdom then you are left alone to sin. But when I understand the gospel then... -

v.1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. So he is not damning you in verse 25 and saying, “God knows how we are.” No, the verse before v.24, He delivered you from it. And now he is telling you not to live by the flesh, because if you live by the flesh you are going to serve the law of sin. But if you live by faith and grace, you are going to live by the Spirit.

111:40 - Live by the Spirit and let His grace saturate every aspect of your life - Live by the Spirit - to live by grace - to live by the working of grace in your life and letting Christ qualify you and letting righteousness adorn you. And as you fix on righteousness and your identity gets groomed as a son, you begin to be a good tree and you bear good fruit.

112:10 - v.2 - For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. This is what I wanted you to see. So is God killing people? No. He is setting me free from what happened to David.

112:35 - v.3 - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, You serving God through the flesh - trying to earn your salvation. We are delivered from this. God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

113:15 - v.4 - That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, This is where you and I come in. This is where faith comes in... who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. - That means I am not a sinner. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Grace is empowering me. I have no excuse for the flesh. I have a reason to live by the Spirit. I’m a son. I’m called by God. I have destiny. I’m going to write a legacy.

113:50 - v.5 - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

You live out by the Spirit what Jesus made possible - the freedom, joy and privilege of righteousness - Do you see that Rom 7:25 says that if you live by the flesh you are going to serve the law of sin. But if you live by the Spirit you are going to fulfill and live in righteousness. He fulfilled the righteous requirement but you are going to fulfill that righteous identity by living by faith. And it empowers you to not sin. Because he said, “Should we just sin because we are under grace and not the law? No.” So it is not just an out. It’s not just an exception - live the way you live, just believe that God loves you. That is not what we are teaching. When you understand that you are righteous you begin to bear the fruit of righteousness. You are not going to continue in sin. You died to it. You are living by the Spirit.

117:00 - Counseling those caught in sin (no repentance) v. those who come clean (repentance) - Pornography, adultery. Caught implies no repentance - the spouse has a harder time embracing mercy and grace. “They will just do it again.” When people come clean, those can work out amazingly.

119:45 - Godly sorrow - a gift of repentance. David was caught.

121:20 - 1 Corinthians 11 Bottom line recap - That Paul addressed these problems with the Corinthians helps us today lest we receive communion religiously.

123:00 - Funeral at Catholic church - 2 kid hit by feed truck - the body and the blood were the reason these kids were different.

130:00 - Wedding - 2 streams of smoke.

134:00 - Sacrament of Communion

139:00 - BREAK - Announcement

Established in the Kingdom that Cannot be Shaken

145:45 - Prayer opening the 2nd half - strong in identity and understanding that nothing would shake us. We are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken so let us be established.

147:00 - Avoid striving - Build on what God IS doing - Hunger is good but you don’t want it to produce striving - feeling like there is nothing happening in your life. No, you build on what God IS doing and saying.

148:00 - Lord, please don’t let one drop of grace available through the life of Jesus Christ given, miss my life. Make me what is possible. Make me what is available. Mold me into what you accomplished. And don’t let my own mind sell it short. I don’t want one drop of grace to fall to the ground. That’s what will expose the way that seems right to a man, human reasoning - grace does that. When you are releasing faith, grace starts etching you. As you are doing that - limited thoughts - ways that seem right to man - get exposed.

148:45 - Fill your heart with the word to get a foundation of truth and expose the lies - If I don’t know truth (by knowing the word), how can I defend against the lies? It’s important to fill your heart with the word. If I don’t have a foundation of truth, how will I even know it’s a lie? If I am not filled with truth, what standard am I going to live by? How will I ever fight and wage a good war?

150:30 - Lies get you to sell out identity, purpose and the responsibility to heal - Emotions, the circumstances of life, sometimes the voice of friends will try to identify me as less than who I am in Christ - try to come and talk me out of my encouraged heart - talk me out of His love - talk me out of destiny. It’s not going to happen. Every word of that lie will fall to the ground because I am founded in truth.

Jesus Ministered Unlimited - Unlimited Promises

➡ 151:30 - We are going to start here and stay in this concept all week. We covered this a lot last week. I wanted to show you through the gospels where there are unlimited promises. Where Jesus healed all - right into the book of Acts.

152:00 - Acts 10:38 - How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. There is no fellowship between God and the devil - between light and darkness. He’s the God of light and there is no darkness in Him. Don’t call God the thief. He gives life. He gave His Son. And it’s His good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

We're to Love on People that Way Too

153:15 - Luke 12:32 - Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

153:50 - In Matthew 10:7,8 Jesus sent out His disciples. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Healing is a part of the kingdom - It's in you - Freely give - So if it wasn’t God’s will to give us those things, how could we give those things? Freely you have received, so healing, etc. must be in the kingdom. The kingdom is here. So healing, deliverance, freedom come through the kingdom. It’s in the kingdom. You’ve received it. Give it.

155:00 - Pray for the sick even when you are sick - That's faith in what He says above what you are experiencing - One of the greatest things you can do when you aren’t in physical wholeness is pray for the sick. It’s your statement that I believe the word in a greater way than I am experiencing. And I honor God’s word above what is happening right now. That is not hypocrisy - praying for the sick when you are sick. Hypocrisy is play acting - wearing a mask - acting like something you’re not. You are honoring the word above your life experience.

156:15 - Faith is the position of your heart to receive what He accomplished. Faith is a lifestyle, a mentality, a perspective. Faith is not something you are struggling for. It’s not something lost that you are trying to find. And until you find it you aren’t qualified to pray for anybody because look at my own life. “How can I believe for the sick when I can’t even get well. I need to get myself straightened out.” That becomes self-focused, striving, feeling disqualified, feeling on the bench.

➡ 157:40 - Let’s get that straight first because we are going to talk all week about you and I ministering the kingdom and shining as lights and loving on people. That is why you are on the planet - to be loved by God, to love God and to love people.

158:15 - So it doesn’t matter what you haven’t received yet, it matters that you believe God’s word. Even if you haven’t received yet, your heart is in a place of confidence and joy. You are still in fellowship with God.

159:15 - Faith is a lifestyle. It’s not something you do. It is something you live.

159:40 - Let your own sickness take you to Him.

200:00 - Praying despite continuing sickness - Father, I so appreciate what You have accomplished. What You have accomplished is settled. It's sure and I'm receiving it. I thank You that I realize through Your word that this has nothing to do with my created value. It's Your will and I thank You that You are breathing life into me. You are strengthening me. God, I thank You that You are making all things new. Your love for me is incredible.

201:00 - Don’t give yourself a reason to be exempt from relationship because of continuing sickness. We tend to justify weakness instead of pursuing strength.

202:15 - Counseling - When you minister truth, people can get really mad. You either love me or hate me. That’s not bad. I don’t want to preach a middle ground. I don’t fit into their mindset or lifestyle. Truth is still the same even if they hate me.

Not Just for the Apostles

203:45 - Luke 10:1 - After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. - Jesus does something a little different.

204:10 - Objection to healing - “That was only for the apostles.” Well no, he sent out 70 more.

205:00 - Misinterpretation of scripture - A lot of time people will take one scripture that is complex and make it say something despite 4 or 5 crystal clear verses to the contrary. Scriptures should all compliment each other. It all comes together like one big beautiful picture. You can’t interpret scripture at the cost of other scripture.

205:50 - Healing is not limited to the 12 - Here are 70 more - Who are these 70 people. It doesn’t really say. He picked them. He added 70 more. It’s prophetic - pointing to something more - not just reserved to this niche of people. He is pointing to a time coming when believers are going to live this way.

207:15 - You qualify for this type of life too - He can qualify you. He can anoint you. He can give you His authority. All authority has been given to me… now, Go! What’s He saying? It’s yours. Because you are in Me and I am in you and you are my church. Why are we confused over that? Why are we afraid to receive that?

The Great Commission

208:35 - All authority - and what that means.

209:35 - Matthew 28

209:50 - v.17 - And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. -

Doubters - Don’t honor your mind over your heart - Set your mind - Jesus is raised from the dead - they are worshipping Him - but some doubted. It’s amazing how the mind works to doubt at that point. I want to be with the worshippers. I do not honor my mind above my heart. Live out of your heart and your mind comes into agreement. Col 3:2 - You have to “Set your mind…” Let your mind follow your heart.

213:00 - v.18 - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Jesus spoke to the doubters. He’s still speaking to doubters. He sent them ALL out. Doubt doesn’t change the commission. Doubt is what keeps you from doing it.

215:00 - All authority is given to Jesus. Heaven and earth.

215:10 - v.19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: -

Jesus sends us as ambassadors - with authority to fully represent - What is He doing? He is sending us in that authority because He is sending us in His name - as an ambassador. An ambassador goes and represents completely and fully and walks in the authority of that representation. He is saying you are one with me. I’m in you. You’re in me. He’s handing you the authority. In Matt 10, He gave them authority and He hadn’t even died yet - put the kingdom on them. Now He is raised from the dead and puts the kingdom inside of us. And tells us to go and say, “The kingdom is here. The kingdom’s in reach - it’s near you.”

216:30 - Make disciples - not just confessing Christians - not just praying a prayer to go to heaven - disciplined learners - wholehearted followers. John 8:31 defines a disciple: Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. -

Disciples continue in His word - If you continue, not in your emotions, your reasoning and the way the world thinks - but continue in My word… The privilege of following Jesus is knowing the truth and truth will set you free. You are ok because of what you see. Before you were not ok. Nothing changes in your circumstances but you see different and you are ok. Your perspective - it’s truth - your perspective changes. Truth is your best friend. He is the Spirit of Truth - Holy Spirit.

218:10 - v.20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. -

Teaching them to obey ALL (including healing) that I commanded you - the disciples who are coming to Christ through the message of the apostles. He is talking about you and me - people that believe. Teaching them to observe ALL things I have commanded you. All the things they were commanded to do, they are commanding us to do.

219:00 - Objection - Miracles are not for today - It’s amazing that somewhere along the way that it was taught that this is not for today. That day has passed away. That when we got the word, that ended the need for signs. That’s the opposite of what is really being said in the word. That is not an accident.

219:45 - The language of the world runs counter to the good news of the kingdom - Sayings that you hear that are the opposite of what the Bible says. Don’t get your hope up. What you don’t know won’t hurt you. It’s a strategy from hell. What you see is what you get. You made your bed, sleep in it.

222:00 - I am with you - When you go, is He with you? Do you know why He is with you. Because you went. You don’t go without Him.

223:25 - Repeat teachings - They are so important - reasons for. Stir you by reminding you. Some things are so important they need to be understood - they are foundational. And if the root is good, the tree is good and the fruit is good.

Authority Retaken

224:30 - All authority on earth - A recap of how the earth got into this mess and how God is redeeming the earth - The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof. I understand that the whole world is in the sway of the wicked one. That means that they are just going with the tide of selfish desire, lust, temptation and flesh. He’s the god of this world. People have come under his dominion by agreeing with him and yielding to him. But God is still God.

225:20 - Luke 4:5 - And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. For this authority, this glory has been handed over to me.

226:05 - When God made man in the garden, He gave him the earth. He said subdue the works of my hands. Tend the earth, govern it, keep it. Have dominion over every creeping thing. So man has authority, dominion over the earth.

226:35 - Satan is not just trying to deceive Jesus. He is making the point that this was delivered to me. And I can give it to anybody I want. Isn’t it amazing that Jesus is here to gain back all authority in heaven and on earth and the devil is trying to cut off that taking back of authority. He is trying to make it all about Jesus having the authority instead of Jesus representing the Father and loving the world. It’s a power trip.

227:45 - If you will worship before me, all will be yours. That’s a deception.

228:00 - Jesus rejects offer. So from that moment on Jesus was on track with identity and purpose. He is worshipping the Lord, serving the Lord with His life.

228:25 - And now He dies as a man - sinless - blameless - as a lamb slain. He rises from the dead for our justification. And in Matt 28 He says all authority has been given to me. What happened? He took the keys of death, hell and the grave - He took the authority that Adam passed on through deception and gave to the devil - Jesus took it from the devil by being the perfect sacrifice. And now all that authority comes to Jesus. Now what does Jesus do? He gives it back to man, just like God did to Adam in the beginning.

229:25 - God breathed into Adam, Adam became alive. Jesus rose from the dead and breathed into His disciples and life came into their spirit.

Recommissioned to Go with Him

229:35 - Mark 3:13 - And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him. And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

We are all part of this amazing plan of redemption - Be with Him first - Relationship is huge - Then go in His heart - We are all wooed and called to Him - to be with Him. Don’t run from Him, come to Him. He appointed them to be with Him. He didn’t appoint them first to do miracles, but to be with Him. That’s intimate. Look at the order because if this isn’t the order you will go without Him. You go because you are with Him. Relationship is huge. When you are with Him you become one with His heart and you have to go. His heart becomes yours and the go in His heart becomes the go in your heart. Prompts you to go. God’s heart is saying go. You wouldn’t even think that way apart from Him. You’d just be busy about yourself.

➡ 236:00 - I’m building a simple, big-time foundation for the rest of the week. We’ll be talking about loving people the rest of the week.

237:50 - Authority to heal sickness.

241:00 - You are the roster of God.

242:00 - He must want people healed if He gave us authority.

242:30 - He doesn’t even say get them born again, get them saved. He does say heal the sick. Move darkness off of people so that they can see truth.

243:30 - Closing prayer
