Value - More or Less
There’s nothing I can do to make God love me more. That is
so freeing. Come on…yay. There’s nothing I can do to make Him love me more. So
why don’t you lighten up, get the sweat off your brow and stop trying so hard
to get God to love you. He does. He’s love. And watch this: there’s nothing you
can do to make Him love you less. See, some of us need to hear that because we
carry things and we don’t forgive ourselves even though God does. But some of
need to hear that there’s nothing you can do to make Him love you more - to get
you to stop trying so hard and just be loved. When do just say, “Thank you for
loving me through your Son.”1
